As children of God, we bear His name on our foreheads. Now, despite life’s struggles, the more we focus on the Lord, the more His love wells up in our hearts and causes praise to rise up within us. Many challenges in life are determined by what we believe as well as what we focus on.

Jesus already promised that our union with Him gives us access to ask and receive our needs (John 15:7 and 16). Therefore, we must keep our focus on Him, and take off the limits we unconsciously place on our prayers, expectations and requests. We are indeed free to ask the Lord to meet our needs, so, when we pray in Jesus’s name, it should not be out of tradition, but with an understanding that we have union with the Lord and the right to use His authority.
