God has a habit of saving the best for last, and the final session of the Maximise Life 2021 conference was no exception.

Delegates and their families turned up to concert night with their T-Shirts, dancing shoes, and hearts full of gratitude and appreciation to God. After a challenging year that put a damper on how we were allowed to worship God in church, the New Wine Church family was finally able to praise God together unreservedly - without restraint and without inhibitions. On His part, the God of heaven, the earth and all of creation, responded by blessing us with His presence, joy, hope, peace, healing, grace, glory and power.

The evening was kicked off with an opening prayer by Minister Gerald and then an infomercial sensitising us to the benefits of God's grace. The anointed and sensational Sounds of New Wine, our choir and band, then rode on that wave, leading us in a powerful time of praise and worship, with songs centred around the grace of God. In the course of the evening, the Sounds of New Wine led us in multiple rounds of worship up till the very end as we sang ‘My Worship’ by Phil Thompson.

After another infomercial on the grace and wisdom of God, we were also blessed with the beautiful ministry of the better than Broadway, hotter than Hollywood, Word in Motion - our Performing Arts ministers.

Next, we watched a hilarious video prelude put together by the super talented Wine Wine Youth ministry before they proceeded to lead us in a time of praise and worship. They kicked off their segment with their original song "Good Father". They also sang “The Anthem” (What God cannot do, does not exist) by Dunsin Oyekan and "Jireh" by Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music.

Later on, Pastor Kola took the stage and briefly encouraged us from Psalm 22, before handing over to our guest speaker, Arno Van Der Knaap of the “God Centre” in the Netherlands. Pastor Arno passionately shared his emotional journey to repentance and encouraged everyone to make a commitment to live and walk with God. Some attendees, including some young people, responded to his call to accept Jesus into their lives. Pastor Arno ended his segment with prayers and encouraged people to give to the ministry of New Wine Church.

Now that the Maximise Life 2021 conference has ended and the grace, knowledge and glory of God is multiplied in our lives, I would like to encourage you to continue to praise and worship God in every situation, and also continue to

"Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed" - Proverbs 16:3.
